From grassroots work to a place of possibility.
The City of Light grew from awareness and community support into a home for training and development.
Early 2000s–2010s
Grassroots beginnings.
The work began with awareness of human trafficking and support for vulnerable people in Nigeria. Founders and supporters helped it grow over many years.
2017–2022
Programs take shape.
The foundation developed more structured programs and initiatives with dedicated project leadership. Supporters contributed towards land acquisition and the construction of a purpose-built facility.
2021–2022
A new facility opens.
Construction and the opening of the facility gave the foundation a base for training, accommodation and community activity.
Today
A place to learn, grow and thrive.
The facility stands as a hub for practical training and community development. Its purpose remains to create opportunities for young people and their families.
